Does anyone have any news about when the release date is? I heard it was supposed to be out in October and got pushed back.

Last I heard, the finished 'A Song of Ice and Fire' RPG was handed over to George R. R. Martin - just to make sure it's all kosher, I guess.

Might have been misinformed, though.

There was a message about it on the GR webpage shortly before Xmas.

A Holiday Update From Our President (Green Ronin Publishing)

Here's the pertinent bit from Mr. Pramas:

"Lastly, I'm sure you're all dying for an update on A Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying. The good news is that the game is finished. The not as good news is that it will not be out in time for Christmas. We are still going through approvals and that is a long process. We are committed to releasing a game that truly captures the spirit and details of the Ice and Fire novels. We hope to make it happen early in 2009 but we won't have concrete news until the game receives final approval and we send it to print. At that point we will make an announcement and gear up for the game's debut. Winter is (still) coming!"
