the munchkin in me always loved this one feat in one of my many 3rd party books. I think it was called profane deathstrike (or something similar.) Basically burn a 'turn' and get to add your CHA bonus to the DC fort save.
At the time I had a vampire NPC with the feat...he had a high CHA bonus for the bonus to saves. Combined with another feat from the same book (profane shield - or something similar...added CHA bonus to AC at the cost of a 'turn')
It was disgusting...good thing it was an NPC.
