Well, ran the adventure at GenCon- and the PC was killed by the assassin. *sigh* He was raised shortly thereafter, however, and they got the assassin eventually...

Was there any witnesses?
Because if there was then the assassin would of kill them too leaveing no witness to the crime.

Yes, there were two witnesses (also party members)- but they were watching from a window and only saw the victim get hit by a poisoned crossbow bolt. Never even saw the assassin...

Reminds me of adventure that my DM made called "The Wrath of the Sandman" , had which been some adventure only leaving two PC's who manage to kill the assasin who is known as Sam, aka the Sandman by the assasins guilds from what I know he is a Psionics/ Assasin.Then, I find out he Returns from a Ring of Regeneration everyone thought he was dead.
