OOC: Any idea of what the creatures are, or do I have to close in a bit first? (BAsed on Rikka's initial Perception roll, a critical success of 29) Also, are 'they' all clustered near the initial 'X' on the map, or more spread out? Mostly asking as intent is 'move and hide', and I don't want to move into an awkward spot...

Rikka's fingers flickered, first pointing at the general area, then two fingers pointed downward and switching like a walking biped, then five fingers spread, folding down to one (maybe that meant '6', or a sign for the other five to wait, while she scouted alone?)- it was a very rudimentary sort of sign language, but she was in a hurry. Then she moved forward, a sinuous motion altogether like a hunting cat- in a few heartbeats she was crouched behind one particular stand of brush (the one she had pointed at); it looked as if she was trying to use the ambushers' own cover against them...

[sblock= OOC] A quick "speech", then move to C5 and hide using the screen of brush as concealment (even at close range, that should be enough with her racial Mask of the Wild ability. Stealth roll 1d20+10= 23 ; roll http://www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=109463
. She will also draw her sword, holding the blade low to the ground so it is harder to see. [/sblock]

Quick enough to react when the others halt as they point that something is hidden behind the line of bushes, thought, Kesem still tries to find lurks ove there. A quick notion that he used many times versus hidden opponent, Kesem mumbles a short phrase [Minor Illusion] and a raspy deep voice is heard echoing in the area in tongue of human and elves.
"I can see you ... come out or else". He then directs his horse behind the nearest tree.

OOC: *Not sure if I pointed it out but Kesem is riding Dando, his horse

Bumble looks over at the trees hiding "something".

In a loud voice, "I cast thee out of the shadows and bring you into the light!" with a flourish she points at the trees and blue light swamps the area.

Casting Faire Fire at D4, affects a 20ft cube. Dex save DC=14.
Move action, she will draw her bow. [/sblock]

The elven shadow monk scoots forwards and hides near where she had earlier spotted movement. Her sword lowered but ready she is protected by the thick foliage in front of her and she notices that movement through it would be next to impossible.

A raspy deep voice is heard echoing in the area in the tongue of human and elves. "I can see you ... come out or else".

"I cast thee out of the shadows and bring you into the light!" Blue light settles on the area and everyone hears the guttural tones of the orcish tongue.

[Sblock=Orcish] "They know we are here, get them!" [/Sblock]

Four large orcs come racing around from behind the vegetation, great axes raised and shouting blood curdling war cries. The swiftly race to threaten the group.

Two larger winged figures are close behind, their skin has a purple cast and their features are a blend of orcish and something else. Unlike the orcs they are dressed in matching scale armour and both wield longswords.

All six figures are bathed in a bright blue light as a result of Bumble's spell.

The two raise their hands in unison and beams of fires launch from the palms of their hands. One at Dorn and one at Ydadoras. The two beams strike true and the flames burn the two.

Dorn recoils from the brutality of the attack against him. Curse you dammed creature; you will pay for that! he mumbles to himself, as he fires an arrow at his attacker and moves for cover.

OOC: Cast hex as a bonus action onto C1 creature. Creature now has disadvantage to dexterity checks.
Action: Attack C1 with bow & arrow using sharpshooter feat
attack [roll0]
attack with advantage from faery fire [roll1]
Piercing damage (note +10 from sharpshooter feat) [roll2]
extra necrotic damage from Hex [roll3]

Move: move to K8 (the goal here is to have some cover to give a penalty to attack rolls against him)

"Aha!" Loud Yann wheeled Frigate around the back of the group, then kicked his heels and charged right back at the gaggle of shouting orcs, Frigate's hoofs ripping into last-year's blanket of leaves. "I'll take care of these guys!"

They both plowed right into what had been the tuskers' front ranks, Yannock's huge branch swinging low - *Woomph*! - right in the teeth of the one to the left!

He grinned, smelling green blood on the wind: "THIS is how you do a charge!"

[sblock=Actions]Back up to get a 20' charge, then move to G10.

Yann's atack on O2, with advantage: Green power: 1D20+8 = [15]+8 = 23; 1D20+8 = [5]+8 = 13; 1D8+7 = [2]+7 = 9

Frigate Trampling Charge attack on O1, with advantage: Charge of the heavy brigade: 1D20+4 = [9]+4 = 13; 1D20+4 = [6]+4 = 10; 2D6+4 = [3, 6]+4 = 13
Likely a miss, but if successful, DC14 Str save or knocked prone. If Knocked prone: trample attack Stomp: 1D20+4 = [13]+4 = 17; 1D20+4 = [9]+4 = 13; 2D6+4 = [6, 1]+4 = 11

NOTE: Shield spell reaction will activate if hit (+5 AC until his next turn).[/sblock]
