The more I think on this, the more I think this power is awesome.

Any crates, or tables, or chairs or boulders around weighing less than your character's lift score? Sliding difficult terrain!

Characters caught in a pinch they can't get out of? Slide 'em through it!

What other creative uses can you think of for this power?

I'd certainly let it grant a +2 to a strength check or to some athletics checks in a skill challenge.

It can push an archer shield or siege weapon into position without worrying about arrow fire from the castle walls.

It can push burning, acid-covered, spiky or cursed things without damage.

If you have a giant with a holocaust cloak, and a wagon, you can put the giant in the wagon, set the cloak on fire and let the strong spirit push the wagon for an awesome intimidate check.

This one came out of things I tried to talk the DM into while playing a shaman. Uses I remember are getting unconscious characters into range of my healing, and pushing a small boat we were piling in to get us offshore and escape from monsters.

I like it, but the Standard action requirement makes it pretty hard to choose over Protective Roots. Why was it made like that, when Wizards can move stuff around as a minor?

Because the wizard can only move 20lb objects?

Even with an average Strength of 10, the shaman can move 100lb objects AND people.
