Accessibility? Affordability? Nah... it's all about the money. I don't why this company is trying to pretend as if maximizing profits wasn't their main motivator for the price they set. They were willing to hold their position, regardless of complaints from advocacy groups and bad PR.
As far as the report, it's just another waste of taxpayer money. It's not as if anything is going to come out of it.
