I have one that you may find odd... It's a bit difficult to summarize it.
We use interactive Google Document calendar for our games, so you just open an eenie weenie internet URL and type "yes", "no" or "maybe" to little box. It's so simple that it hurts.
Rule #1 is
If you have any decent computer skills and you have your own internet access, you have to be able to check the calendar and use it. No other reminders are allowed. We will NOT spend money for texting/calling since we have such a convenient tool at our disposal.
Of my current group I only call to one player and discuss about schedules since he's extremely unoriented with computers. But otherwise everyone has capability to use Google Docs. Heck, some of them could even program it... So they have to use it or lose it. How much simpler can it get?
