If an atavist has both monk and soulknife levels do they gain both benefits of the Unarmed Strike/Mind Blade Improvement class feature?

Hm. Probably not.

If it was possible, you'd only have to be a soulknife with the Improved Unarmed Strike feat. It's not necessary to be a monk - you only need the feat to fulfill the class prereqs and also to get the unarmed strike.
So I think you're not supposed to get both.

What's more, it's an either/or ability (unarmed strike/mind blade improvement), not two separate abilities.
