Dyn & Dem is self-contained in the sense that it doesn't require any other books and no other books are based on material in it -- at least not yet. ;)

OTOH, I know that one of the critters I created for the Bestiary is absolutely perfect for this style of gaming, and I suspect there will be others. (Heck, there's 220 creatures in that book. How could there not be others? :D)

So Chris, just a few quick question about the book. Do you think this book can handle both a High Magic campaign style of play as well as a low magic style as well? What about a mixture of the two (High Magic Spellcasting, but low magic item count for example?)

Sure. There's a whole chapter on using magic on political games (with a bunch of new spells and magic items). You can combine this stuff with pretty much any flavor of magic you like... :)
