As a 3.5 fanatic, would you be open to playing a 3.0 campaign?

Thanks so much for the overwhelming response to my previous polls. I've been using the information to help guide my future purchasing/campaign running decisions. Here's the last poll in my series...again, I appreciate how many of you have taken the time to respond.

Please note: this final poll is only for people who consider themselves 3.5 fans and who have 3.5 as their #1 system of choice (where D&D is concerned, anyway).

I'd say the same as BigRedRod (I feel naughty typing that in. :uhoh: )... It wouldn't be a 'no way I'm playing' kind of problem, but I would try to steer them towards 3.5. Send them a link to the SRD for starters.

Then I'd try to find a clerical domain with haste in it and play a harm/heal expert. :) (kidding!)

I selected the "Sure, why not?" answer...

I prefer 3.5, and am most familiar with it, but am not opposed to 3.0 either. At GenCon, I played in a 3.0 game as a cleric and had lots of fun with the buff spells. I had forgotten about the hour/level deal...

The game makes it fun...not the rules.

I wouldn't play 3.0 unless it was a long running game that had major world assumptions derived from the 3.0 rules. (i.e. Sepulchrave's storyhour.)
It's just kind of silly, the SRD is free, and I own the books, and the rules are just generally better. (In my opinion, of course.)
