Attacking vehicles - awesome or silly?

 That's just great
Quest hook: Find the responsible for immobilizing the planet before one side is baked and the other side completely frozen :P

Hmm, I'm pretty sure being immobilized still lets you rotate (there's no facing rules to my knowledge -- thus you can "see" anything as long as its not obstructed, etc.). However, the planet couldn't orbit, which would lock it into an endless winter, summer, autumn, or spring.

Come to think of it, I think we just figured out Game of Thrones!

Actually, without motion around the sun, the planet would fall into the sun...

[adventure hook]...which is why nearly all the mages of the world have been gathered together to constantly perform a ritual to hold the planet away from the sun. But this can only last as long as the residium holds out...[/adventure hook]

Seriously, though. If the players are at all imaginative in the application of their skills, powers, and abilities, I try to reward them with at least a modicum of success.
Warning, though. This has created a very imaginative group, which, even when playing RAW has managed to subvert many GM plans leading to hours of wasted map and encounter building on my part. (But still enormous amounts of fun!)
