Attention Artists and Cartographers! (Serpent Amphora/SL contest)

Just to update you all, you can now FINALLY see the results of the contest as well the works of others as well as your own IF you submitted pieces for the contest. Just thought I'd let everyone know. Btw, congrats to ALL the submitters. I'm very impressed with the vast body of work.

I was discouraged when I saw the winning entries, but I found some real gems when looking through some of the submitted works. Some good stuff.

Yeah there really are some good ones too. I still think the winning entries deserved to win, but not by much. There were some GREAT pieces, especially the ones with Totems of Mormo. Also the ones with Storm of Blood were pretty darn spiffy too.

I would have to agree- the winning entries were good in their own right, but I saw some very good ones in the entries...

art 31- storm hag swoops overhead was really good. the only thing is that it didnt follow the story- and so that is the only reason i could see for it not winning.

the ink washes were a little- odd for my taste.

the cartographic winner was definietly the best of the bunch. teher was really no competition there...

Agreed Sol. Tim's work was by far the best for the cartography section. The rest...well I imagine it was EXTREMELY difficult to choose just two out of there.
