Attn: Paradigm any word on Unveiled Masters?

Paradigm looks to have some big eyes but I don't think that their stomache is capable of keeping up with 'em. Makes me wish that Mongoose and Green Ronin did the OGC Interlink thing. At least you know Mongoose is keeping the product flowing.:(

Actualy Mongoose currently has 10 overdue titles, many as behind as Paradigm's Eldest Sons or the Mindflayer book.

From what I have seen most rpg companies are behind on their releases dates. It's what happens when most of your crew has day jobs.

The Paradigm's Interlink series' deadline stand out because they are tied to GR's schedule, but like most good projects, they take time.

Personly, I am looking forward to the Mind Flayer book.

I'm looking forward to it too. I loved the Giants book and their magic item book. Not a bash on the quality of the company at all. Hell, as far as late products go, they're not the latest. (Pulp Cthulhu anyone?) I'm just like everyone else and get frustrated when I see something that looks good coming down the pipeline to see it delayed again and again with few updates on the website. One of the reasons I love the FFG website is the rants. Like the monthly Eden newsletter too.

Guess I'm just one of those people who feel that some comment is better than none. Even if its just, "We know we're behind but quality takes time. Here's some more art samples." or something of that nature.

Richard...

DUDE

That is a SWEET, SWEET, SWEET Paladin of the Violet Line!

(doing a dance of joy around the computer)

Sweet!

That is indeed a fine piece of art. With that, and the cover that was posted earlier, and WAR's (it was WAR wasn't it?) bad-ss 'flayer that was on the cover of Dungeon a while back, the illithids are certainly getting a lot of love from the artists. Certainly makes me want to use them...

Holy crap, that's great! When you get your webpage up and running, would you mind posting a head's up here, so I remember to go check it out?

Thanks,

Thanks, guys!

Yeah -- the webpage is long overdue -- I guess I can put a notice around here -- the update will have a good many PCI illos on it, so. . . .

Unveiled Masters Update

Hello everyone,

We've received plenty of email asking whether this book has been canceled due to the SRD finalization.

I'm happy to report that the good people at WOTC have graciously agreed to allow the book to release without any changes.

They (as in Andrew Smith and Anthony Valterra) realize that there was no notice given that Mindflayers would be removed from the SRD. As our book had just shipped to the Printer, it would be unfair to penalize us due to bad timing.

In another thread there's been alot of WOTC bashing, etc. Its been our experience that WOTC has been more than generous and fair when dealing with smaller publishers. PCI, for one, would like to express our gratitude to Anthony and Andrew for their patience and fairness.

Best,
