Losses to Lower 4 (1 vs two white belts!)

All other wins were against lower.

Not exactly impressive, no? For Dark there isn't a single dark even at Tier 3 I think that is proof enough for them.

I agree with kalanyr and I'm neither of the paths right now....I've just seen fights where even to a white belt and kal being a red belt.....(case in point my match with him with Kagan: The Dark Writh: Whie Belt 0)....he has a hard time beating them......even with the amount of power he carries now...I actaully almost beat him....and so many of a lower tier DID beat him with ease I might add.....I've seen also Lord Soth struggle with lower foes as well......

I gotta smile. I have been worried that if anyything the two paths are overpowered. Both have the ability to choose a 2 point move at any point in the match and have a better chance of it succeeding than the honor warriors fist of fury attack. At the third tier, the two paths can choose 2 2 point attacks at any time - compared to the honor fighters only choosing one at that point.

The wins or losses of one or two fighters cannot prove or disprove the value of a path in a game that is a 50/50 gamble each round more or less. Consider Gray - case in point. I was worried the sash had been done in again because Gray lost and lost and lost and lost and then lost some more. He got knocked back down to white belt. And then he started winning and rose to be the current highest ranked fighter.

Too in paths where there are not a lot of fighters to begin with, it is not suprising that none of them have yet reached tier 3.

Ok, Wicht. Thanks for the candor. As for Gray's losing streak I believe I am one of the fighters who have been consistently beaten by him in every match (3 Matches) and you're worried about the sash!

Once more this is just IMO.

If you were worried Light or Dark is overpowered I think you may be underestimating the power of the honours sig styles and gaining all the mastery powers. The Sig Styles of the honours can make Mastery not worth a tin copper in some fights (currently there are something like 4 honours with complete immunity to my mastery). And FoF with the right moves can generate 1(Used sig style for secondary),2, 3, 4,5 or 6 points, the last three are something light cannot do until RoD and even then it's still limited to 4 points max, 5 if you count the double location possibility.

One more candid point - the light path is meant to defeat villains - the powers are specifically balanced to give these fighters a distinct edge over the yakuza (especially after the 2nd tier). The path of light is all about beating up evil after all. Honor fighters will certainly give light warriors a tougher fight than yakuza will while dark and light are almost perfectly balanced (with each sliightly better in certain areas.)
