Augment Healing and Vigor spells

Would the Augment Healing feat (from CD) add it's effect to any of the vigor spells each round?

For example, I cast Mass Lesser Vigor, a 3rd level spell that normally heals each party member by 1 hp/round. Would the same spell cast with Augment Healing heal for 7 hp/round?

I feel like the answer should be no but i don't see why it would be as per the rules.

Does it? I thought the spell grants the recipient the ability "Fast Healing 1"

By my reading, Vigor (etc) should be treated identically to Remove Blindness, Remove Disease, etc - also Conjuration (Healing) spells that don't cure any damage directly.

Augment Healing adds twice the spell’s level to the total healing it provides. The simplest method is to have the spell apply the extra healing to the first round of fast healing. Thus, lesser vigor (a 1st-level spell) would cure an extra 2 hp of damage in the first round, for a total of 3 hit points. Each round thereafter it would heal the normal 1 hp of damage. Mass lesser vigor (a 3rd-level spell) would cure an extra 6 hp of damage to each target in the first round (for a total of 7 hit points), and would heal 1 hp of damage each round thereafter as normal.
 

augment healing...

There are mainly 2 schools of thought on augment healing.

Group 1 thinks the feat has no effect on any Conjuration (healing) spell unless it actually cures hitpoint damage. In other words, lesser vigor doesn't actually heal any damage(it grants fast healing), therefore augment healing can't improve the healing.

Group 2 thinks it adds free healing even to conj(heal) spells that do not heal hit point damage...In other words reading it this way:"Mass lesser vigor normally heals 0 damage, modified by +6 for augment healing. This healing would happen as soon as the spell is cast, and would not effect any other part of the spell or increase fast healing.

My gaming group is in group 2, and I've played a dedicated healer in a game that used this exact combo. It didn't seem broken and really wasn't a big deal. Think I made it to Radiant servant of Pelor 2 or 3 before we switched games. Healing was never a problem for that group :-p.
