I don't know if anyone has seen this one but it's up on amazon as well:

Monster Manual IV (Hardcover)
Gwendolyn F.M. Kestrol
$34.95
224 pages
Due July 11th, 2006
The thread does specify August releases... I'm pretty sure it's referring to the month. ;)

Oh, and the middle one is almost certainly a novel, obviously.

Ed's been wanting to write that one for years. I have a feeling it may surprise people who haven't warmed to many of Ed's past fidtion efforts.

Tome of Battle : The Book of Nine Swords (D&D Supplement)
Hardcover: 160 pages
Publisher: Wizards of the Coast (August 8, 2006)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0786939222/

I think this book might be the second in the series of supplements started earlier in 2006 by:
Tome of Magic: Pact, Shadow, and True Name Magic (D&D Supplement)
by Matthew Sernett, et al (Hardcover - March 14, 2006)

Where Tome of Magic looks to explore different aspects of magic than the standard rules, Tome of Battle might be its companion which explores different aspects of physical combat.

I have seen products on Amazon.com that have never come to light. The release dates are a bit down the road, are we sure these are gonna happen? :\

Oooh, interesting. I may get this book after all.

If the book does have to do with alignments, I can only see my skeptic's eyebrow being raised higher.

If it's just a new way to deal with physical combat, perhaps I will eagerly give my nerd-love to it. :)
