Hi everyone,

We've just posted details on our August releases and they're pretty cool. In addition to the previously announced DragonMech adventure, The Shardsfall Quest, we also have the plant-based Dungeon Crawl Classics #10: The Sunless Garden, and a hilarious new card game called Geek Wars: Battle for the Con. Here are the blurbs -- you can find more at http://www.goodman-games.com!

GEEK WARS: BATTLE FOR THE CON
DECK #1: RPG GAMER
GMG8001, 55 cards + rules, $9.99

This hilarious 2-player card game pits geek against geek in a tongue-in-cheek battle for control of Jim Con. Each deck has a different "army" with inside jokes that every gamer will love. Look for cards like "Always Plays the Cleric," "Didn't You Know There's a 5th Edition?", and "The Lake Geneva Sucker Punch." The first player to take over Jim Con wins! Find more information and preview cards at http://www.goodman-games.com/8001preview.php

DUNGEON CRAWL CLASSICS #10: THE SUNLESS GARDEN
GMG5009, 32 pages, $10.99

For levels 6-8. After arriving at a seemingly abandoned trading post, the heroes discover to their horror that all the inhabitants have been transformed into black trees! Upon further investigation, they find clues that lead them to the hidden lair of Nockmort, a treant gone bad. Nockmort has been transformed by the strange radiation of a meteorite he discovered, and now he is a terrible force of evil. The characters must enter his sunless garden to save the town. And along the way they just might discover fabulous treasure...

Damn... I just finally got Temple of the Dragon Cult two weeks ago. This one looks great too... DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU!! :D

"Easter egg" in DCC #10, huh? Is it a coincidence that there's a meteorite in both DCC AND the Dragonmech adventure in the same month? :D

LOVE the cover for DCC #10! Getting Erol Otus for some of these puppies was quite a coup. Goodman is on fire with great products as of late!

Don't worry, they'll slow down soon around #13! That will give you a chance to catch up on the playing of them. As for the "easter egg," it doesn't tie into DragonMech (that's just a coincidence). It was the author's idea, and he worked it in so carefully I had to ask him, "Is this really what I think it is?" It was... and it's pretty doggone funny... but it's really, really subtle so you'll have to read carefully. :)
