Aura question...

Do I take aura damage when a creature comes to me, or only on the start of my turn and when I go to the creature with an aura.. IE:

1) I'm standing at my tent, and a hell hound runs up to me to attack. It misses, but I still take its aura damage? Then my turn is right after its turn, I take aura damage again?

2) I move into the hell hounds range and attack a hell hound. I take aura damage then, and then again the very next turn right?


Can something with an aura move away from me, then move to me again and make me take aura damage, effectively twice per turn?

No because the other answer is equally no.

You take the damage when you enter the aura and when you begin your turn inside it. The aura entering your square does not count, this damage is dealt when you start your turn for this principle.
