Australia: Cheapest place to pre-order 4th ed books

I've checked out a few places for the three core books and these seemed to be the best -

Amazon ~$72US ~ $78.50AUS (10-11 days delivery)
Gamesparadise = $120AUS (next day delivery)

I'm getting mine from Amazon.

Shops here just don't pass on the benefit of the dollar and are also hit with various taxes that simply make it cheaper to import them yourself.

I doubt you will get cheaper than Amazon but do try Ace Comics on the mall near Burger King as their prices are quite sharp (and certainly better than some of the mail order companies operating in Oz). Online Games Centre at Ashgrove, if they're still in business, are also pretty good with prices particularly for pre-orders (when I was living in Oz I bought a dozen 3.5E PHBs from them rather cheaply on the day they were released).

Amazon seems the best bet, Infinitas is getting preorders for $150AUS.

Just don't pre-order from the Penrith Tin Soldier, it could be months before they get the books.

at times amazon will ship before the sell date so the product will be received the day the product goes on sale. This some times results in people getting the product a day or two before hand. I know it happens for video games.

Be sure to check out the price of the gift set at Amazon. With the gift set and pre-order discount, I was able to get the three books together cheaper than you could order them individually from Amazon, with the slip case as a bonus.

As Olgar, I have pre-ordered the box set and even with expedited delivery it is cheaper than the three core individual books here in NZ, I have yet to see the box set here so Amazon it is for me.

Try "Fastbreak Games" in Nundah (Brisbane). The owner is Paul. I know he is doing a *big* 4E order and his prices usually match Amazon's (give or take 1 or 2 dollars). It's also nice to support your FLGS.
