Autofire and Burstfire - what sort of action?

It's taking me a little bit of time to wrap my mind around the game mechanics of gunfights in d20 Modern. I understand, for example, that a double tap can be done on every single iterative attack.

But what are Autofire and Burstfire? Are they standard actions? Full round actions?

Or do they count as single attacks, each? Or is autofire one sort of action, and burstfire another?

iirc, iterative attacks both.

this because autofire just helps you to hit, and burst fire is just a step up from double tap...

also, they eat so much ammo that you will not be using them much unless your carrying a belt feed weapon ;)

You can decide single-fire, double tap, autofire, or burst fire for each attack you can make.
