Most 3rd party publishers have a 2nd Enworld ID for submitting their own scoops.
After a quick check of this forum, and anecdotal evidence from 5 years of being a publisher posting announcements here and reading those from other publishers, I can tell you this is not true. Overwhemingly all of us post our own stories and scoops (I can only think of one or two cases where the publisher has friends who are far more present here at EN World than they are that post their scoops for them, but not in lieu of them).

I love the 'Dancing Bridge'! Thanks!

And thanks for posting about it!

I'm going to try and run the 'Dancing Bridge' this weekend.

I have not read the other yet. It looks neat too.

Hey! I just printed out the maps for the Dancing Bridge and I'm looking forward to using the encounter in my game tomorrow. However, when I printed everything out, the squares are smaller than 1 inch. Maybe I printed it wrong, or maybe it's intentional, but I just wanted to find out for sure. They're big enough that I think the minis will fit anyway, but it would be nice if I had them at 1 inch (also then the map would plop down perfectly on my play mat). Also I was wondering if the map on page 4 was supposed to have the dice symbols on it; is it supposed to move? Finally, the stat blocks suggest that the Quickling Bridgedancers get to add the 'poison' effect to their Fey Sword attack every time. Is it understood that the poison is used up after the first hit as is usual for poison, or are they actually supposed to get it constantly? Well, thanks for the awesome encounter in any case!

That was intentional, as I has a lot to cram on there and, as you mention, the minis still fit.

I hadn't thought about using them on top of an accurate 1" grid play mat, although it's obvious in retrospect.

If you want, I can post the original graphics images, so you can then print them off however you like. It's probably not a bad idea in any case.

That was intended as just a small reminder which way to move to platforms when rolling for random direction.

That's my intention, yes. Something to do with their magical fey mojo, or something. It probably wouldn't break the encounter to have it stop working after the first hit; if the DM can see the encounter is a just a bit too powerful for his group, he can always make it spontaneously stop working, too.

Well, thanks for the awesome encounter in any case!
Thanks for looking over it and hopefully running it -- it'd be great if you could post about your experiences with it (even if they're terrible) to the General Discussion area.

Cheers,
Roger

Ah, don't worry about that; I've already printed them anyway. Well thanks for the quick response to my questions! Our game isn't for a few more hours still, so I'm glad to know how to use the quicklings' poison beforehand :)
