Avatar: the Last Airbender

I agree that tonight's one-hour episode of "Avatar: the Last Airbender" on Nickelodeon is must-see television! I strongly recommend this animated series to all fantasy fans (the first two seasons are available on DVD). Despite the streamlined art style and youthful protagonists, this drama has powerful elemental magic, martial arts inspired by Chinese mythology, interesting creatures, and party humor fit for any D&D campaign!

I think I'm just going to wait until the third season is all on DVD. My gaming group meets Friday nights and I don't have Tivo.

Maybe they can start re-running the 3rd season episodes on some other night?

Man, I love the large-scale element bending in this show.

It's stuff like this that reminds me why I started watching this show in the first place.

Just some general/random comments:
- It's about time Zuko got to do more than sulk
- Azula back in top form as being the show's Queen B****
- Aang's new staff, now with snack compartment
- Sokka stepping up to the plate when needed
- Cameos galore from 1st and 2nd seasons

It was Day of the Black Sun, it fits into the middle of I believe it's Season 3 currently airing.

It was alright I think for Azula to be able to completely avoid attacks from two rather skilled benders is stretching it. I mean Ang and Toph aren't anything to scoff at, yet all Azula did was bounce around the cavern evading EVERYTHING, bah!
