As Kris attacks the first of the vines he sees that they are murging into a much larger creature. Actualy 3 larger creatures. they look like 7' long snakes with tendrils for arms. Their tails are tinged in blue and radiate cold. Kris swings at the lead serpent and hits causing some of the smaller vines to come loose from the whole.

They use their turn to combine.
