Awaiting with Excitment for...?

Blue Rose
World's Largest Dungeon (ok, the money for it <g>)
Shadowrun - SOTA 2064 is next, but I'm an SR junkie :D

Mostly? Sharn: City of Towers. I'm hoping to get into Eberron on the ground floor, so. I'm interested in Complete Arcane, but I'm waiting for forum reviews before I buy; Complete Divine turned out to be horrible, so Arcane is a toss-up at this point.

Also, Nobilis: Society of Flowers. I realize that the chances of it coming out anytime in the next year or two are slim, but even still.

I'm waiting most anxiously for Aberrations, the next WOTC D&D miniature set, to be released October 15 (I've already preordered 2 cases), especially for the wyvern, green dragon, destrachan, mind flayer telepath, celestial bear, fiendish dire weasel and kobold sorcerer in the set.

As far as books, I'm hoping to buy Complete Arcane and Libris Mortis as soon as they come out as long as the reviews and other opinions show them to be useful to me. I'm also planning to buy Monster Manual 3, but that is already out. I just haven't gotten around to placing my order yet.

More than anything else, Ars Magica 5th edition.

Otherwise:
Arcana Evolved
Sharn, City of Towers
Beyond Countless Doorways (dead tree edition)

Complete Arcane (though it's more morbid curiosity about whether it'll be as bad as Complete Divine, than it is actual desire. I really really want it if its good, otherwise I'll be disappointed).

I'm interested in Shining South and Ancient Empires, but I wouldn't say I'm awaiting them with excitement.

I already got Dark Inheritance at GenCon - It's pretty good.

Lands of the Jade Oath
Arcana Evolved!
Ruins of Intrigue (an adventure by Mike Mearls for Arcana Unearthed)
Book of Iron Might (I can't wait for this - Mike Mearls described this at the Meet Malhavoc Press seminar at GenCon and it sounds incredibly cool - the idea of being able to design your own stunts and special maneuvers for your campaign like your own version of bull rush, disarm, run up the chain weapon or dragon's back maneuvers is fantastic!)
Battlebox (by the time I found out about this product at GenCon I couldn't find them anywhere)
Egyptian Adventures: Hamunaptra
Fireborn Game Master’s Handbook (I LOVE the player's guide for this)
Spirosblaak
Babylon 5: The Rangers
Complete Arcane
Complete Adventurer (WotC is finally coming out with their own official ninja?)
Races of Eberron
Sharn: City of Towers
Advanced Bestiary
Advanced Player’s Manual
Advanced Gamemaster’s Guide

The thing I am excited about the most: Iron Kingdoms Setting Guide. No doubt about it. I have become such a geek for Iron Kingdoms that I hope the thing comes out before Christmas. I am starting a campaign in a few weeks and don't want to be left hanging . . .

Iron Kingdoms "Full Metal Fantasy" World Guide
City State of the Invinvible Overlord (I had a lot of fun with the old Judges Guild version, and still think tht the maps are wonderful, even after all these years...)

The Auld Grump

For d20/D&D stuff, Conan d20, maybe Midnight, and perhaps Beyond Countless Doorways. Other than that, nothing really. I have too many D&D books already.

For non-d20 though: Shadowrun, Shadowrun, and more Shadowrun.

I find it interesting though that for all the WotC bashing that goes on, everyone has their stuff at the top of their list. Curious.

Less than half = everyone? Not even when you wrote that me bucko...

  • Beyond Countless Doorways
  • The Book of Iron Might
  • Noir for M&M
  • Liber Mortis
  • The First Immortal's Handbook PDF (mostly for the final iteration of UK's CR system)
