Awesome Ptolus Vinyl Map - HUGE

Hey guys --

I'm not sure where to post this, but I just put my huge Ptolus Vinyl map up on ebay as part of a moving sale. I am sad to let it go, but I just don't have the wall space anymore, so it will end up rolled up for good.

I would prefer if one of you other Ptolusites wanted to do it some justice.

It's the big one (they did a smaller 48" wide one) measuring approx 70" wide!

Hah. I'm about to run Ptolus, and all this did was convince me that I'm not getting one of these maps at any price I'm willing to pay.

I feel exactly the same. After browsing around Ebay for a while [they seem the be difficult to find], the cost of those I finally found sold for enough that I was totally unwilling to pay for. One of those sad things that I wish I'd bought when they were sold originally but never did.

I had the starting bid price set at 49.00, but someone jumped on the buy it now price. I guess there is a market for these things. It is rare and it is really big and awesome.

EDIT: Oh and it was the really large limited edition map.

Yea, it was up for about 4-5 hours. But Ptolus is special.

Now I am wondering what a numbered #16 and signed Ptolus is worth...

That's something I actually wanted to ask you about for a while now... yours says 16/1000 on the bottom left of the page right before the table of contents?

My book is a little beat up, so I know it wouldn't sell for quite as much. What that means is that I've actually used the book a fair amount and read portions of it, particularly several of the adventures. Shilukar was a name that my players came to hate. They refused to call him by that name.

Well, that explains that. I only wonder because, if you haven't guessed, I have 16/1000. So I was wondering how that came about, two copies of #16!
