[B.A.D.D.] - Iconic dragons

Well, so far we have the Blue and Copper iconic dragons started, but I haven't heard from anyone else. Here's the list as of the old thread.

Black- CRGreathouse
Copper - Axiomatic Unicorn
Blue - Gargoyle
Green - Shamat
Red - Isida Kep'Tukari
Brass - Drowdude
Gold - Wolfspider & reapersaurus
White - Dr. Zoom
Bronze - ~Joseph~
Silver - gfunk

Take a look at Cupchal and Nimbessa to get an idea what we are looking for. Also, all these dragons are going to be OGL - it would be very cool to see them used somewhere I think. When you send them in, make sure you say "I give my permission for this work to be released under the OGL." Want to keep things nice and legal.

Also, if you originally said you wanted to do one, but now don't have time or have lost interest, please let us know. That way we can have someone else do it.

I don't see what the big deal about iconic dragons is. You can't see ANYTHING at 32 x 32 pixels.

1) Do you have to be a member of BADD? (If so, where can I sign up?)

2) I'm assuming that - in keeping with the goals of the group - the dragons should be as powerful as possible in keeping with the rules.

3) That said, I'm also assuming that the dragon should be somewhat representative of it's species, them being the iconics and all.

Anyone care to field these?

I'll try.

1. Not sure - probably. But getting in is easy, just e-mail maddman_75@yahoo.com and say you'd like to join, and how you want your name to appear on the site. Check out http://www.baddragon.org for details.

2. Yes, the dragon should be challenging. It should make the best use of its abilities and resources as listed in the MM.

3. Yes the dragon should be standard. No class levels or templates., with standard ability scores, standard feats, standard treasure, etc. Their behavior should be fairly standard too. For instance, Nimbessa looks and behaves very much like most blue dragons her age, no weird tactics, etc. As she gets older, she'll look and behave like "typical" blue dragons.

There should be enough information to drop the dragon into an adventure without too much difficulty, so we're trying to keep the setting vague. Try to follow the format that we've used so far on the website to keep it standard.
