I think it was the Complete Guide to Fey? Not sure exactly.

Yep, some of the 3rd-party books have real nice fluff, but virtually none seem to get the crunch aspect of D&D, and that's what interests a lot of folks.Dannyalcatraz said:I'd have to disagree for one specific reason.
There are a significant number of gamers who use ZERO 3rd party product.

Well, in the interests of accuracy, I'd say go back and listen to the show again. Perkins was basically pulling off the top of his head.Razz said:So I was listening to Show #7 on GLEEMAX and they interviewed Chris Perkins.
It appears they do have a "Fey Book" and a "Giant Book" planned, but they got bumped so they could fit in Tome of Battle. Apparently, if a book theme is so awesome and there's no time slot for it, they'll actually replace something else they had planned with the totally awesome book.
It sucks that we have to now wait that much longer for a Fey-book and Giant-book (two creature types I've been longing to see them do) but Tome of Battle was really awesome so I'm not
It makes you wonder what else got bumped for some other book that a lot of us have been wanting to see?![]()
All good and well, but that really has little to do with what I was saying.Kunimatyu said:Lords of Madness is regularly touted as one of the best 3.5 books, and yet it's not exactly packed to the gills with crunch.

Have you tried the Year's Best D20? It's a good sampler by many of the industry's best. I'd be surprised if there was anyone who didn't find something in it to love.IanB said:It isn't how much crunch; it is, more or less, the look and feel of what crunch there is that makes the difference for me. 3rd party products almost never seem to fit it (largely intentionally I'm sure.)
