BAB 20+! (not epic BAB, regular)

I haven't looked over the Kensai class, but I should think that BAB would max out at 20, by inference from the Epic rules which prohibit any BAB over 20 by stopping all BAB advancement at level 20.

All bonuses past 20 are not BAB. I'm not sure how that would work with the Kensai's ability to boost someone - I should thing that either:

BAB tops out at 20 and the rest is wasted or
BAB tops out at 20 and the rest is is just some sort of Kensai bonus, but not BAB.

Hmm, actually this reminded me of the 3.0 Tenser's Transformation and it's interaction with ELH.

It isn't that BAB can't increase past +20 (Monsters show that to not be the case quite nicely, unless you wish to contend that the colossal zombie is an epic monster).

The rule is that Class Levels past 20 don't provide an BAB bonus, not that the BAB bonus cannot exceed 20.

Just as if 3.0 Tenser's Transformation would actually give a bonus to the caster's BAB that could exceed +20 (happens at 22nd level spellcaster, +11 Bonus to BAB / +10 base BAB). The Kensai's ability should boost the BAB past the 20th level cap. Iterative attacks stop after 4 however (which is also stated).
