Are you going to do a before-and-after set? I mean, if you're doing it before you leave, we gotta see it AT Gen Con . . . and then we might as well see it right after Gen Con, and right when you get home, too. :)

Anyone here seen "Court Jester" (1956)? Tell me that Angela Lansbury and Glynis Johns weren't knockouts.

I love that movie. It's on my list of DVDs to buy for me and the kids. I rented it not too long ago as I'm the only one living in this house who'd seen it. My wife's jaw literally dropped when I pointed out Angela Lansbury playing the not-so-nice princess. She is definitely a looker, as is Glynis Johns.

In the TMI category, I remember seeing The Rescuers as a child and absolutely falling in love with Eva Gabor just because of the sound of her voice. Even watching that movie today, I almost feel like I'm cheating on my wife. :)

William Golding once said, "What a man does defiles him, not what is done by others."

Now you tell me, do you think his statement was inclusive of women in his intention or that he excluded them because they are merely objects? (Personally, I think it equally applies to either gender.)

People are entirely too concerned with what other people think.

Our ideas of beauty are trained to a degree, but some women are beautiful to 90% or more of males even if they aren't their perfect ideal. They play it right, they get treated better than most women as far as general social treatment such as opening doors, making requests such as takin days off or better work assignments, promotions and other such things.

Men have an ego trained a certain way. Smart women learn how to manipulate the male ego with their beauty and personality.

To anyone taking pictures at the GenCon,

See if you can find some pretty dark-skinned women to throw in the photo album. They need to have more girls of African ancestry show up to Gen Con dressed as dark elves. That would be nice.

Actually I usually make judgements about their intelligence based on the temperature. I’m happy to be scantily clad in warm weather, but how anyone could seriously contemplate wearing that little when the temperature is measured in single figures is beyond me!

I really must invite you out clubbing, in Liverpool, in winter. Northern women must have anti-freeze for blood.
