Ah good, another reason for me not to go to cons.

Edit : I hope you are getting the persmission of the actual women in your photos and not just the people that took them. Some of them may object to your wording.

I'm sorry to hear this. Some of my most favorable gaming moments have been at cons, the people I've met, the fascinating purchases I've made that I never would have otherwise, and the absolute fun I've had.

Without Gencon, I never would have met Eric Noah, PA Sicart, Gary Gygax, Dave Arneson, Peter Adkison, Ryan Dancey, or Mike Stackpole. Just the North Carolina Gameday alone just introduced me to a dozen people I interact with every week, but never put a face to until then!

Cons are far more than what is presented here - believe me.

I agree with you Henry. Have had some really great gaming experiences at some cons (some very bad ones, but what ya gonna do). The opportunity to meet people, especially industry people is great. I can't think of one author or company rep that was not friendly and willing to chat with anyone.

Dragongirl all these women consented to being used in an online gallery. SKR asked their permission before taking the pics.

I trust that any pics from this year will also be taken with permission, and consent of the person in the photo that it will be online.

But did they know it was being called "Babes" and having comments like "bazongas" included?

First off anyone willing to pose in a chainmail bikini...who i must point out fills it nicely, should by lessons learned in life that sometimes people will comment on the things they find most striking or captivating in the manner they know best. Additionally i doubt that these girls are stupid and have learned lifes lessons and expect comments and probably enjoy to some extent the attention. Not to mention that they knew they were drawing attention to themselves and that by being photographed that immature people and mature people alike will see these photo's and enjoy them immensily as i have, some people however are more expressive of what they see as "art" and like all art it should be commented on because it is a very sophisticated thing to do and one that must bring forth a reaction. 2 points Saphryme

I'm not so sure I'm OK with this gallery. Anyone who paid attention would know that I found nothing offensive about the last cover of Dragon. This, on the other hand, is effectively turning a corner of ENWorld into the gamer's equivalent of the Swimsuit Issue. Granted, most are wearing more clothing and are not supermodels, but it doesn't change the fact that its inviting us to check out some skin online, and out of context (not that the chainmail bikini is any classier in context). While I don't mind the pictures being posted alongside other pictures taken at cons - pictures that might actually serve to share the excitement of a convention with those who couldn't attend, I don't think they're appropriate here as a collection of cheesecake, nor should the female community members (or even some males, for that matter) be made to feel uncomfortable by any sexist content on this site.

Just my $.02.

The bazonga's was not reffering to the girl, but for the artist she was working for.

You'll note that the gallery includes all women, not just ones that dressed up and wore skimpy outfits.

That's kinda how I'm leaning. I'd be happier if these were just mixed in with a whole bunch of "cool Gen Con pics". For example -- anyone got a pic of that stormtrooper who was wandering around?
