BENCHWARMER !!! hahah ... a cards with chicks trading game ?!

I still dont get the idea behind the name of benchwarmer... but the idea seems pretty much directed at underage teens. Magic certainly seems boring compared to it.

(Yes males are pathetically easy to attract with babes and RPG player even more so... )

Ladies and gentelmen, if you will now direct your attention to your right and take a look at picture IM000853 from the galleries, there's only one thing i can say. I feel cheap! It's not because she might not be a nice person, but by looking at the background and the trained pose and smile, i can only come to one conclusion she's there only for our 'benefit'. Hell, i'm definately attracted, but the thought that people are misusing that knowledge at something such as GenCon kind of makes me angry. My anger is not specifically directed at the girl, but more at the people running that booth. What's next, will the porn industry run a couple of booths at next years GenCon, i'm sure there would be a lot of 'game nerds' drooling all over such stands...

I always dig the costumes (from everyone, not just the babes), a lot of effort has gone into those. Also there's no embarasement on anyones face, kewl people!

If you're talking about the blond model who was next to the picture of another model.

There was a booth by ENP and CMP for some Collectable Cards or something. I forget the name but The girl was one of the models for the cards i think.

The owner of the card company actually asked me If I was a designer cause he wanted to start a game around the cards!

Yes she was a babe there for our benefit but she was also there to respresent the actual product. So please dont rag on her.

Nope, I think its for the benefit of the trading cards they are trying to sell. At least she is 'on-topic' for the product unlike many other booth babes. An Trading Cards are a suitable thing for a Gencon event, although I think it would have sold better there if they had introduced a a Top Trumps style game element to it.

The girls could have different attributes written on the cards to bid against each other.

Still why pay for that sort of game when you can play PIMP! for free!

I feel a bit insulted here.
After all the contraversy about "typecasting" and degrading women I did my best not to focus on T&A but on the actual girls of gencon.

All shapes, sizes, and clothes, whatever.

All girls deserve to be "babes" of gencon, period.

If you dont like that I'm sure I can locate a strip club for you where you can pay the strippers to wear chainmail or tavern wench clothes.

I told Meg Hal that we needed to devote a section of our booth to selling Hustler's and Penthouses. I'm pretty sure we'd make a mint!

Great job, ArthurQ. I really enjoyed that. Well, most of them, anyway. But, it's just like being at GenCon. You get the good with the bad.

The funny thing about GenCon, is that you see some girl wearing duct tape, for example, and you think "damn, that's hot!', and then you look at her face, and try to picture her at the mall on the weekend, with all the other 18 year old girls that are there, with their best GAP outfits on, and you think, "wow, you're really unpopular in school, aren't you?" I think GenCon is a place for average girls to look really, really awesome. I mean, remove your average cheerleader from the mix, and these girls that are 6s or 7s, become instant 10s.

I find that it happens at work too. I notice some girl, and I think wow, she's not bad looking. But when you stop and consider she's the only girl in a 500-ft. radius amongst a bunch of computer programmers, and project managers, you realize that, in the mall on a Saturday, she'd just be getting in my field of vision of some real hotty.

Actually I think the girls you mention are already 10's and the cheerleaders are the 7's.
