D&D 5E Background ToC TIDBIT

I'm really disappointed, though - they don't include any Tipp-Ex/Liquid Paper so you have to provide your own.

This is unacceptable. I've had to provide my own for every edition. Mearls promised once, on twitter, through a joke account, that I wouldn't have to supply my own for this edition.

And yet here we are.

Man, the "s" on that font they're using...I can barely see the top of it. What were they thinking? It's not like I can house rule a new "s". This is a really massive issue for me and hundreds of other the people in this thread that agree with me.
Seriously though, that 's' is weird.

Also, this thread rules! :P

Well, why didn't you vote for it on the surveys? It was in every single one of them - third question from the end, hidden under the full stop.

I know I voted.

Next you'll be telling me you never voted on the "Troll the forums with Damage on a Miss" polls

Again with the surveys!

As far as you know, I have a degree in tearing apart internet surveys from a very reputable online university. And I can tell you, with the full weight of the authority vested in me by the diploma I haven't printed out yet, those surveys were all designed with a heavy bias against liquid paper users. I yelled at the top of my voice about it at the time, but no one wanted to listen to me then. EVEN WHEN I USED ALL CAPS.

And less I say about the line of "Trolling" polls the better. The only one worse than DoaM was the Second Wind one.

That must be nice for you people with your fancy pens. I never use anything but the burnt end of a stick to do my writing. Why can't this game be inclusive like Mearls said it was going to be?

#timecheck: it's 2014.

If you aren't using pens by now, it's because you have a willful disregard for the best ways to have fun. Hey, I used to use a burnt stick, too. I've got all kinds of burnt stick cred. But I was miserable each and every time I had to pick one of those things up. Splinters? Ugh. It was literally the worst thing I can imagine any human doing ever.

As for inclusive? According to a survey by wesellpens.com, burnt stick use is now only .1% of the market. What does "inclusive" even mean in such a world?

I stopped even reading the troll polls when the "Should Trolls be flame-retardant?" came out. I reported that post, I didn't appreciate the slanderous name calling.

I almost didn't post this, there's so little meat to it, but I know not everyone is on twitter. And some of you are masters at teasing information out of seemingly insignificant bits.

The only thing I can see is that this section is 3 pages in the Basic rules (presumably identical text), and 5 pages in the PHB, so that gives us an idea of how much art there is?

You missed the follow up tweet. You are now supposed to prick your finger and do edits in your own blood to remind yourself of the pain the Mearls is putting you through.

The /ragequit thread has escaped its confines.
