I recommend you purchase a copy of the Grim Tales Creature Creator.
It's a spreadsheet that automates the process of creature creation, from the ground up, outlined in Chapter 13.
It's sold as a PDF with a spreadsheet kicker, but honestly it's really more the spreadsheet with the PDF of Chapter 13 thrown in for reference.
It's an amazingly cool tool, programmed by an ENworlder-- seriously, check it out.
I am hoping it will be available for purchase shortly.
I've also included useful spreadsheets with the Gamemastering PDF and the Mass Combat PDF. It struck me last night that $1.95 for a complete Mass Combat system seems awfully low-- but then, I said everything I needed to say about the system in about 10 pages.
As for the Gamemastering section, rolling back the curtain on CR and EL has my vote for the most useful piece of design work since d20 was released (thanks to Upper_Krust, Cheiromancer, CRGreathouse, and other ENworlders). Again, $1.95 seems ridiculously cheap for what I predict will be a very popular little document.
