Bad Axe Games

Hi,

I'd like to add to the chorus recommending that everyone check out the (very inexpensive) offerings from Bad Axe Games.

I just spent some time on their web site, and the samples they have for download are fantastic:

There is also a link to a very good interview with our own Wulf Ratbane (Ben) and his partner from the site, that makes me hunger for the book on elves they mention.

Great work Wulf! I can't wait to actually get the books in my hands!

I just got dwarves about a month ago, since they disappear as fast as this shop I frequent buys them. Awesome work. Can't wait to get Half-Orcs! :)

Wa-hey, thanks guys!

To show my appreciation I'll put up another PDF download.

And because I know Piratecat loves his half-orc cheesecake, I think we'll go with the Hoodoo! Keep your eyes peeled for this bewitching gal later tonite or tomorrow!

I'd buy them both in a heartbeat if I could ever find them. I honestly think that my FLGS doesn't stock them because they're a weird size and wouldn't fit right on the shelves. :)

Ah well, guess I could ask about it, or order it online.

Sad, but true. That's what we get for being a little different!

I have found some game stores end up stocking them in the same place that the little pamphlet-sized AEG and FFG adventures are stocked-- usually some kind of magazine rack. Same place you might find those cool Fiery Dragon counter packs.

Ah well, guess I could ask about it, or order it online.

I am a firm believer in giving the FLGS their shot. But if they can't or won't sell it to you, you can order it online from me (www.badaxegames.com), or from Amazon.

I'll chime in with love for these products.

The Dwarf book was fantastic. The "Crafting Items" rules presented were well-blanaced and filled a gaping hole in the rules.

I don't think I'd call t he size "Odd" so much as "Handy": It takes no effort to lug these books to and from games, and they are packed with useable information.

I hope to pick up the Half-Orc one this week (assuming my FLGS has it)

Here's my anecdotal contribution to the tales o' Bad Axe Games. About a month ago I drop them an email to let them know how much I enjoy HOHF: Dwarves and the next thing I know Ben is emailing me back with an offer of a free copy of Half-Orcs and a question of whether I'd care to add to an upcoming product. We've since been emailing back and forth periodically, working out the details, and he's struck me as a cool hombre.
