Bad news

I really don't know where she has been, but I do think she has gon to the C.A.B and might have been to job center to discuss benefits and so on. But I know she has talked to her form tutor and head of year at her college about things.

Thank you for the advice grimwell, I will keep that in mind. Stable wasn't the best word, but neither was immature, or lazy.....its some kind of mixture. Although we would end up in that situation, I won't dismiss it. I don't want to have her hanging on to me for support any more than she wants to.

Thanks everyone.

...If you aren't that close, and you don't feel comfortable doing that then there isn't a whole heck of a lot you can do except maybe help feed the poor girl. I agree that you probably shouldn't get involved with the whole mom thing. The fact that her mom would kick her out because she lost her job sends up red flags to me.

That is probably the best. Stop by like you usually do and bring some food you both can enjoy. Cash is nice, but can turn ugly quickly.
