Baldur’s Gate 3 (early access, aka beta testing)

BG3 released today for early access (aka beta testing) for just the first chapter of the game.

anyone decided to buy? If so, what’s the experience been like? I’ve never bought a game at early access before, and frankly, I don’t like the idea of paying now for a testing product for however many months if not year later before completion( I also don’t do kickstarters etc

anyway so was just curious what’s been like for anyone that did decide to jump in now.

It's more like Alpha Status. Haven't gotten it myself yet but have been reading lots of reviews and takes; some alpha-jankiness aside most people have been pretty positive so far.

It's much more polished than alpha status.

Sure there are bugs and imbalances, but the biggest difference to the full game is the limited content.
