Baldur's Gate, Sarevok, and Anagrams

I'm playing through the Baldur's Gate series for about the 13th time and just noticed something. Sarevok uses an alias wherein he spells his name backwards - Koveras. Well, Sarevok's ful name is Sarevok Anchev. Anchev is very near Vecna backwards. I googled it and found nothing. Am I the only one to notice this? It may mean nothing, but I found it very interesting.

It is probably only an interesting aside. Baldur's Gate takes place in the Forgotten Realms, while Vecna's stomping ground is Greyhawk (although he makes an unfortunate appearance in Planescape).
