Barbarian Help.

My d&d group has been recently graced with a new barbarian player and I'm helping get the character set up but don't have alot of experience with the class. So I'm looking here for advice from those more experienced in the ways of the wild man.

He is looking at being a Goliath and using a large 2h wep. This would make him the only 2h wep fighter in the party so he will be able to pick up any magic 2h weps we find. The DM has said no racial sub levels and we use group initiative so improved initiative is useless to us. He would also be lv 5.

I'm just looking for good feats and prc options to show him. Also no frenzied berserkers we would have to kill him in his sleep then.

I am totally rolling a barbarian, after reading this guide. Irrelevant question, but can one get weapon proficiency (throwing monks)?

i suggest managing to pick up drunken master... then you can use anything (or anyone) as an improvised weapon... and get your unarmed damage added on to boot. ^^

Pity it doesn't do anything about the -4 penalty for improvised weapons.

Take levels in Fist of the Forest and pick up Poison Healer instead.

I can't find the Poison Healer.... any tips where to search? (Google failed me/or I failed it)
