It seems like a lot of the Barbarian abilities have been renamed since the last public playtest. I've also noticed that Brutal Critical improves with level.

I'd rather have seen a Frazetta-esque Conan homage.

Anyhow, why does WotC keep playing "just the tip" on these class previews? I want to see the whole damn thing!

Uh because they want to sell books of course!
 

I think it's kinda clever that it seems like WotC gave each different blog site a different class to preview. More traffic for everybody!

That image really doesn't scream 'barbaric' to me.
He looks like a barbarian, he just doesn't look savage or raging. Fine distinction.

Nordic pirate = viking. ;) (EDIT: Ninja'ed by Agamon)

I think it's a great picture that shows not only realistic equipment (Unarmored Defense + Cold Weather = sensible clothing), but also showcases that a culture doesn't have to be primitive to have barbarians. This character could easily be a totem-based barbarian noble.
