Barbarian splat books?

Lizard Lips

First Post
I've got a player who will be rolling up barbarian for his next character, and as a b-day present I was gonna get him some sort of supplement. He already has Masters of the Wild... is there any other splat book for barbarians?

Well, there is Path of the Sword. It covers Barbarians as well as fighters, monks, and rangers. Barbarians do get a fair amount of coverage for feats and prestige classes. Heroes of High Flavor: Half Orcs will cover Barbarians as that is their perferred class. I haven't seen that one, so I don't know how helpful it will be.

Is there something in particuliar you are looking for concserning the Barbarian?

If he's planning on a half-orc, I would definitely suggest Heroes of High Favor: Half-Orcs. (I'm not just saying that cause I wrote it...)

Non- half-orc barbarians will get less use out of the prestige classes, but most of the feats, skills, and new rules are applicable to barbarians of any race.

And hey, it's only $9.95. Buy him a book AND a miniature to go with it.

I suspect, with book in hand, he'll want to play a half-orc.
