Bard PrCs

Since WOTC really failed (IMO) to give bards sufficient coverage in Song and Silence where PrCs are concerning, I was wondering where you can find some good ones. Any opinions?

Can I assume you've seen BoEM II? The Diplomancer would be handy for a political intrigue type game. And the Knight of the Chord and Song Mage are especially good for multiclass bards, IMO.

Don't assume anything. I am afraid I have not seen much D20 stuff out there, having no money for it. Thanks for the heads up though.

Path of Magic has quite a bit to offer Bards, including different bardic abilities for dancers, chanters, and instrumentalists instead of singers. PrC's include:

* the dwarven Chanter
* the Grand Diva (must be female, and definitely suits the image of Diva)
* the Jester
* Spellbinder (specializes in Enchantment)

Another good d20 resource for Bards is the Enchiridion of Mystic Music, which is all about expanding what the Bard can do. I think I've seen reviews of it in our review section. And it's only $5 at RPG Now.

Sounds familiar. That's why my pdf collection swells and my book collection languishes. $5 here and $5 there is a lot easier to justify to yourself than the big, fat $40 purchases.

It also helps that I can print for free at the lab :D

I'll second Path of Magic. Not only does it do the best job of going off the beaten path for the bard, it has a pretty neat variant on bardic performance abilities. Chun-tzu failed to mention the legendary classes such as the puzzlemaster and the infiltrator.
