Bastion of Broken Souls Follow up and the Magic of Incarnum

I´d see more logical that the bad guys go after the Bastion of broken souls itself. They are not gods, and thus not subject to the ban of the unborn, and now that the bastion is not secret free to go there and taint as many unborn souls as they want, or use them to whatever purpose.

Though it´s a little late by now.

Bastion is locked up tight - no more key to get in, no more door for a key.
The Bastion we've assumed is floating in the positive, and thus is not in a fixxed location, so no compass to find it either.

That's the whole reason that the bad guys are after people with the Spark, they cant get to or get into the Bastion.

Yep, since seeing this, I've been tempted to wait on the book before proceeding too far into this plotline, and have not put an urgency on the PCs needing to track down more info on the Spark of Life.
