ARMS & ARMOR ERRATA ONLINE
It’s one of those inescapable facts of the publishing business that no matter how hard you try and release a perfect product, forces conspire against you to ensure that mistakes creep into a product. Some of these errors crept in during typesetting, while others were just missed by both us and our playtesters. We apologize for the inconvenience of having to refer to this errata, and we’ll work to correct these errors in the event of a reprint of Arms & Armor.

Review of Bastion Press Releases

Hi! Bought "Arms & Armor" today and enjoyed it very much, except for having to hand-write in all the errata in the book's margins... DOH! :) The errata wasn't too bad, although I can't find the iron brush on the weapons chart to change it to iron comb... Was this omitted?

The book, while pricey at $24.95 for 96 pages, is justified by its full color interior and slick glossy paper, as well as the sheer *amount* of information crammed in between its covers. In fact, there is so much new stuff, I don't know what to use first! :D I really liked the Executioner's Sword (1d12, 20/x4) and Bloodaxe (2d8, 20/x3). The War Fork (1d12, 19-20/x2) looks a bit like the staff of the deathsong in the DMG. It looks great!

My only gripe (except for the errata, LOL) is that some of the weapons and armors were not illustrated. I know, you can't squeeze 'em all in, and some don't need a picture as they are easily understood, but some of the weird ones were not depicted.

I'm looking forward to your Alchemy and Spells books!

Thanks for the kind words!

We had a long talk about how much artwork to include. I think we finally ended at 127 illustrations. Todd Morasch (my art director and lead artist on the project) had wanted to put in more, but there just wasn't room without micro-sizing the type or dropping entries all together.

You're welcome! Praise where praise is due, after all. The book delivers everything it advertised and more (a rarity as always in any business). I'm plugging Arms & Armor for ya in a poll in the General Forum, Jim! :D

E-Collection?

Will there ever be a collection of the various E-supplements? I'm interested in them, but don't want to buy 'em and then print 'em out. I'd rather just have some type of collection preprinted and prebound.

Wel, I'm too wise to say the 'never' word, but we don't have any plans to compile them into a product right now. Many of our e-releases are designed to augment the print releases, and they'd make for pretty small supplements on their own (and they wouldn't fit seemlessly together, either).
