Not to completely hijack the thread, but while I enjoyed the story overall, I always had one major problem with Batman: Year Two, one that really lowered my enjoyment of the whole thing.

I think that most, if not all, of Year 2 was retconned with The Long Halloween and that most, if not all, of Year 3 was retconned with Dark Victory. Frankly, I though the entire story in Year 2 was lame as all Hell, so I wasn't weeping for the changes in continuity.
