Battle Box Spell Templates Question

So... as far as the spell templates go... Have those of you who use them but them out, or do you use them in the whole sheet format and just try to figure it out?

The side of me that wants to make these as useful as possible is battling the side of me that hates to cut things up. I can't decide what to do. What did the rest of you do?

I hate top cut things up too. I'm the type that hates to write in his books and such as well.

Do you have a scanner? Would it be possible to scan them into your computer, print them out on heavy cardstock and then Cut that up? That's what I do with things like that.

I think it'd be sort of silly not to cut them out.

I cut mine out and put them on a flat surface under a stack of books, to get the folds out from the few templates that have them. I'll be getting my first chance to use them next weekend, and I can't wait.

I cut them out, and they work really well. I might photocopy them onto a transparency, though, so I can hold the fireball template over the battle without needing to move any miniatures.

Cut them out. What's the use of having a template if you can't hold it over the battlemat? If you don't want to cut them out, then photocopy them onto cardstock, or as PC recommends, onto a transparancy. They are pretty useless if you leave them on the poster sized sheet.

Okay... okay... you're all right. I just needed a little hand-holding to help me get over my fear of destroying things.

Seems to have been more of a pimp-slap than hand-holding, but the results were effective.
