Battlefield 2, who else is excited for it?

I've seen several ENWorld threads in this forum regarding Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield Vietnam, so naturally I'm curious if anybody has been keeping track of Battlefield 2 (due out in 2005). I've been reading previews for it, and it sounds like it's gonna be really cool. It features...
  • Modern vehicles and weapons.
  • Three different factions: the United States Marine Corps, the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and a fictional Middle-Eastern Coalition.
  • Seven different classes to choose from: Sniper, Special Ops (sneaks around and blows stuff up), Light Infantry, Heavy Infantry (basically a machinegunner), Antitank Soldier, Medic, and Combat Engineer.
  • A realistic bullet penetration system (a thin wooden fence might hide you from view, but it ain't gonna stop incoming fire).
  • Ragdoll physics system.
  • Voice communication support with USB headset.
It looks like it's sure to become a multiplayer sensation when it comes out. Hopefully by that time I'll have a high-speed internet connection so I won't be restricted to playing it at LAN parties. :)

I'm going to wait on BF 2 until after its out. I got hosed with BF:V. BF:V should have had certin features in it since day one:
1. Server name/ IP on the scoreboard.
2. The buddy/ map vote system from BF 1942.
3. Mine/ trap warning for team mates from BF 1942.
4. Being able to short server list by ping.

None of those things were in BFV until the big patch almost 5 months later. I'm going to wait and make sure those things are in BF 2 from the start.
I'm more interested in Star Wars Battlefront myself.
