Holy frak! Holy frak! Holy frak!

Okay, stolen from AICN, but still accurate!

Boomer shot Adama!!! That was totally unexpected, I almost spit out soda!

Six vs. Starbuck was great! Nice imagery that Six was killed by the arrow of the old gods... almost an allegory that the Humans can beat the Cylons. Watching Six kick some tail ruled too. And tell me Starbuck's face when she realizes Boomer is a Cylon wasn't great!

Gaius has crossed over to the dark side completely now. Also, I really like the idea of the Cylons keeping the Humans alive to breed with them. Very weird, I'm interested in seeing how that works.

Lee was great after he was arrested, just standing there on the bridge with almost no concern, letting nothing bother him until his father gets shot.

Also, I really would like to see more of Tigh.

D and the president's aide Billy (right name?) whispering to each other was a nice touch.

I can assume this was seen from Bit-Torrent DL, and lad, the state side, hasn't seen the next 9 shows yet... and now, must wait, to see the HELL you are talking about. ;)

It was, I could not resist pirating this show after seeing the pilot. Though to be fair, people in Britain have seen it as well. To make up for it though, I'm taping the episodes as they air... even knowing that I'm not a Neilsen family or anything.

You are in for a hell of a ride. BGG is the best scifi to come out in years.

WARNING: FURTHER SPOILERS FOLLOW. I WARN EVEN THOUGH IT´S IN THE THREAD TITLE, SO DON`T COMPLAIN! :)

If I was ever shocked by a movie/TV scene, than this was definitely the one. It was totally, utterly, absoultely, definitely unexpected.

I want a continuation. NOW!

...

In the hindsight, they might have hinted at Boomer changing, but it wasn´t obvious or clear:
When Galactica-Boomer was meeting the basestar-Boomers, they said to her something to the effect of: "Don´t worry, you will all see us again". That was after the bomb was placed and activated.
I think that, when the basestar exploded and they all died, the transferred their mind to the next Boomer model - and that was, obviously, Galactica-Boomer in the raptor.
The last time we saw the old, inconfident, self-doubting, human-liking (?) Boomer might have been as she entered the Raptor and started it...

...

But, frack. That was a surprise.

Was she killed by the arrow? I thought she just fell on some rubble and a convenient sticky-up bit of metal impaled her. I remember wondering how Starbuck managed to avoid being stuck with it, too.

Heh... watching Six do anything rules!

I thought there was some really great acting going on in the final two episodes. I'm still not clear on exactly what the cylons were up to on Caprica - were they deliberately pushing Helo towards the Arrow of Appllo? Perhaps they want Galactica to find Earth for whatever reason - even if it's just to nuke it!

It'll be interesting to see how the whole Boomer thing pans out - will Helo take his Boomer back to Galactica? Will Galactica's Boomer turn out to be suffering from some sort of temporary insanity or mind control? Will we have a kind of switched roles thing going on with the 'good' Boomer on Galactica becoming an evil cylon Boomer and the 'bad' Boomer on Caprica becoming the 'good' version? With that nasty bullet hole in her cheek, it's gonna be conveniently easy to tell the difference!

With the Chief and Gaius stranded on Kobol, we may be in for some Cylon action on the ground which will be cool - we haven't really seen the robots kick any *ss yet.

I assume that Adama's gonna make it - he's too great a character to cut this early in the series - then there's the locked-up president... presumably, with Adama out of action, that puts Tigh in overall command of the fleet, which could be interesting. With both Apollo and Starbuck up for a court-marshal now as well, that's gonna be half the cast in the brig or in hospital. This may give some of the lesser cast an opportunity to come to the fore. The writers clearly want to keep us on our toes!

How long will we have to wait for season 2? Didn't I read somewere (probably right here)that SciFi/Sky had comissioned a further 6 episodes?

This is almost certainly the best televison we've had for a few years!

If they even allow Boomer to stay or become one of the good guys I'll puke though. No matter how "nice" she seems in the end she is a Cylon and has been put in this situation for a reason, and its not to help out, even if it seems she is doing that. I'd have a hard time accepting the Adama or Tigh allowing ANY version of Boomer to be on the fleet. This is all the marbles, no room for errors. Interrogation followed by a good Spacing is what she needs.

How long until Zarek is trying to supplant the President? If Tigh is in command while Adama is down will his wife try to steer him towards putting Zarek in power? I bet this all plays into his hands.

6 Scripts were ordered...
Renewal for the show, should be announced by Feb. 1.

NBC owns Sci Fic Channel, they are the ones to make the decision....harp upon them for the renewal.
