So think about it.
You're the evil mastermind behind some dastardly evil plot. Maybe you're the crazed mindflayer alienist seeking to bring realms of insanity and madness to the material plane, destroying all of existence.
Maybe you're the evil baron who has ruthlessly crushed every opponent that has come against him, conquered the surrounding lands- and now rules virtually un-checked his own kingdom.
Maybe you're the evil lich- who has been busy creating an army of undead guardians who will spill out from your blasphemous necropolis to destory every living thing on the planet- bar none.
Imagine how angry you'd be if you stumbled across these message boards and continually found yourself (whatever incarnation you take) being referred to as just the BBEG. Honestly! You've fought numerous battles, crushed all opposition, and set amazingly intricate plans into motion to be just a BBEG? Maybe you're not really that 'bad'- maybe you're not big (pixie sorcerer anyone?)- maybe you're not evil in the classic sense of the term... and perhaps you're a woman. And yet- still, branded with this insensitive acronym of BBEG- in passing for goodness sake!
Just something to think about... the BBEGs have feeling too ya know.
