[BDV] Playtesters Wanted for Dawning Star

We're gearing up for playtesting the latest entry in the Dawning Star line: Helios Rising. The book is going to be a lot bigger than we first anticipated, so I figured I could use some more playtesters. If you're interested, please e-mail me at justin[at]bluedevilgames[dot]com. Helios Rising is the follow-up to Operation Quick Launch and expands the Dawning Star setting to the remainder of the Helios system, featuring write-ups of the saurians of C'thalk, the secret vaasi outposts, and about a dozen other species.

Just wanted to be sure you'd gotten my e-mail. Are you still looking for playtesters? Second question: will you (or members of your group) be at Origins this year?

I did get the e-mail. (Very nice, btw) We're still reviewing material. Any stragglers should feel free to continue to send in material. And, of course, anything submitted after issue 1 would be considered for issue 2 or thereafter.

As for Origins, Blue Devil Games will not have an official presence there. Dawning Star will be available at the GPA showcase booth. Members of the DS "team" may be going on their own; I don't know. Our official coming out party will be at Gen Con.

I will make a point of stopping by the GPA showcase booth, then. Dawning Star is definitely going to be a game to watch. Since you're still reviewing material, I'll spend some more time on your site and see if I might be able to create something you'd be interested in. We'll be in touch.

Still looking for playtesters? I've got a group who is looking for fresh meat, and we're intelligent adults, no less! *picks nose* We were all big fans of "Firefly", while it lasted, and this seems reminiscent of the show....which is a very good thing! PS....I do art....
