Them too.

I'm mildly ashamed for knowing this, but Port Charles is the name of the town General Hospital is set in. It's also the name of a spin-off series. The spin-off got whacky and at one point had a major vampire infestation.

And here I was thinking the only soap opera with vampires, was Kindred: The Embraced. If only Showcase had taken it when it left Fox, could have gone somewhere.

Fallcrest, Winterhave, Feywild, Shadowfell, Macetail... yeah. The list goes on and on.

Have you seen this:
http://mbenign.blogspot.com/2008/05/sneak-preview-d-4e-monster-building-and.html

It really works. Watch:
*shakes 3d20*
"Thunderscale Foamer"

Maybe that was an anomaly... let's try again:
*shakes 3d20*
"Dreadhaunt Gnasher"

Yep.
"Stonewrack Hulk"
"Poisonspike Filcher"
"Stormwing Creeper"
"Ironscale Scourge"
"Nightfang Lasher"

At this point, I pretty much don't even need WOTC to name the monsters. They can just number them and I'll roll on that table.

The sad thing is I can't tell if this website is a joke or not. :)

It really DOES work. :p

General Hospitaller might be more believable. :)

I didn't think it would happen, but I'm officially anxious in my waiting for the core books. The prospect of 800+ pages of new rules, monsters, ways of doing things, etc. is getting me hyped up.

You and me both!

If nothing else, it might make the monsters more mysterious.

"What the heck are bloodhorn creepers? Did we fight them last week?"
"No, I think those were nightfang lashers. Or were they stonewrack hulks?"

Bonus confusion if you re-roll the name every time the players encounter the same monster again.
